Job Overview:

Our client, a reputed construction company, is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, tax compliance, GST, Tally data entry, and general accounting functions, with a robust understanding of financial regulations applicable to the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounting: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.
Tally Data Entry: Ensure proper entry of financial transactions in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
GST Compliance: Manage GST filings, reconciliations, and compliance with applicable laws.
Taxation & Compliance: Handle TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory obligations as per regulatory requirements.
Bank & Vendor Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations for financial accuracy.




Project Accounting: Track and manage expenses related to construction projects.
Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processing, including statutory deductions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review.
Liaison with Authorities: Work with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
Educational Qualification: B.Com or higher (M.Com preferred).
Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, and income tax laws.
Experience with bank reconciliations and vendor payments.
Basic understanding of construction project accounting.
Other Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Positive command of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
