Mechanical Draftsman Department: Design & Engineering Experience: 3–4 Years Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred Software Knowledge: AutoCAD & SolidWorks

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with 3–4 years of experience in the process equipment manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings for equipment such as pressure vessels, reactors, storage tanks, heat exchangers, columns, agitators, and other heavy fabrication equipment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential, along with a sound understanding of engineering drawings, fabrication practices, ASME standards, and manufacturing processes. The candidate should be capable of coordinating with the design, production, and QA/QC teams to ensure accurate and timely release of drawings for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Develop GA, fabrication, and assembly drawings for process equipment.
Prepare BOMs and maintain drawing revisions.




Coordinate with Design, Production, and QA/QC teams.
Ensure drawings comply with customer specifications and company standards.
Support production by resolving drawing-related technical queries.

Required Skills
Diploma/BE in Mechanical Engineering.
3–4 years of experience in process equipment/heavy fabrication industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Knowledge of pressure vessels, reactors, tanks, heat exchangers, and fabrication drawings.
Understanding of ASME standards, welding symbols, and GD&T.;
Positive communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

3–4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering company.

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Solid attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to meet project deadlines and handle multiple assignments.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
