Job Title: Area Sales Manager – FMCG

Job Summary

We are seeking a agile and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales, expand market presence, and manage distributor and retailer networks within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate must have robust FMCG experience, team-handling capability, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
Manage and expand distribution channels, ensuring optimal stock availability and product visibility.
Lead, guide, and motivate the sales executives/DSRs to improve productivity and coverage.
Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
Implement sales strategies, schemes, and promotions effectively at the ground level.
Ensure timely execution of market activations, brand visibility, and merchandising.
Monitor sales performance, reporting,



and forecasting for the territory.
Resolve market issues, ensure collections, and maintain credit discipline.
Conduct monthly review meetings with the team and distributors.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate
3–7 years of FMCG sales experience (Foods/Beverages).
Strong knowledge of distributor management, retail operations, and territory expansion.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a field team effectively.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.
Experience with Bzome software will be an added advantage.
