Core Responsibilities
Quality Management: Establish, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system (QMS).
Compliance & Audits: Ensure full compliance with relevant local and international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, GMP).
Process Auditing: Lead internal quality audits and serve as the primary liaison during external regulatory inspections.
Defect Investigation: Lead root-cause analysis for quality deviations, customer complaints, or product failures.
Corrective Actions: Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to permanently eliminate identified quality issues.
Team Leadership: Oversee, train, and mentor a team of QA engineers, specialists, and inspectors.
Data Metrics: Track and report on key quality indicators (KPIs)
like defect rates and cost of quality.
Typical Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
Experience: 10+ years in a QA role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Certifications: CQM (Certified Quality Manager), or ASQ.
Core Skills: Deep knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), risk management frameworks, and audit methodologies.
