Assist and support cardiologists in performing complex diagnostic, interventional, and emergency cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care.
Prepare the cath lab, patients, equipment, and specialized devices for procedures while ensuring readiness and compliance with established clinical protocols.
Independently monitor ECG, hemodynamic parameters, and patient vital signs during procedures, promptly identifying and communicating any abnormalities.
Maintain strict aseptic techniques and ensure full compliance with NABH infection prevention and control standards throughout all procedures.
Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform routine quality checks on cath lab equipment, coordinating timely maintenance and minimizing equipment downtime.
Implement radiation safety measures for patients and healthcare staff by adhering to ALARA principles and ensuring the proper use of radiation protection devices.
Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies by assisting in advanced life support procedures, CPR, defibrillation, temporary pacing, and emergency interventions.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of procedures, patient records, inventory, consumables,
and equipment logs in accordance with NABH and hospital policies.
Mentor and guide junior Cath Lab Technicians, support onboarding and competency assessments, and contribute to departmental training and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety protocols, ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and actively participate in NABH audits, accreditation activities, and quality assurance programs.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Cath Lab Technology, Cardiac Technology, or a related allied health discipline.
Valid BLS (CPR) certification; ACLS certification preferred.
Robust knowledge of ECG interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
Experience
4–5 years of hands-on experience in a Cath Lab, with exposure to diagnostic, interventional, and emergency cardiac procedures in a multispecialty or tertiary care hospital.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
