We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Executive to manage our daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records. You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring all accounting activities comply with local regulations. The ideal candidate is a numbers-driven qualified with a solid understanding of accounting principles and a high level of integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain day-to-day accounts, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Voucher Management: Prepare and process payment vouchers, journal entries, and credit/debit notes.
Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and inter-company account settlements.
Taxation & Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST/VAT, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Audit Support: Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external annual audits.
Payroll Processing: Coordinate with HR to process monthly payroll and employee reimbursements.
Reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a general accounting role.
Software Skills: Expert proficiency in Tally Prime, SAP, or QuickBooks, and advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local tax laws.
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, robust analytical thinking, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the construction or real estate industry (handling project-based accounting).
Professional certification (e.g., CA-Inter, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
