We are seeking a detail-oriented Modeler to apply constructability and detailing principles in developing accurate construction models and shop drawings. The role involves collaborating with project teams to ensure high-quality execution, address constructability challenges, and support efficient project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Interpret design drawings, specifications, and applicable codes/standards
Develop and maintain accurate Tekla models and connections aligned with design intent
Perform model constructability reviews
Collaborate with design teams and contractors to develop engineering solutions
Create shop drawings and erection sheets
Develop custom reports and drawing templates as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field required
7+ minimum prior years experience with 5+ prior years experience in Tekla steel detailing on complex projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Demonstrated career growth that includes experience working with design teams for a variety of building or project types
Strong client-service attitude with ability to multi-task and accomplish multiple priorities
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in a rapid-paced setting
