Job Summary
The SEO Intern will support the digital marketing team in improving website visibility on search engines. This internship provides hands-on experience in keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO basics, content optimization, and SEO analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct keyword research using SEO tools.
Optimize website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, and headings.
Assist with on-page SEO activities.
Support off-page SEO efforts such as backlink building and directory submissions.
Perform competitor analysis and market research.
Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Identify and report technical SEO issues.
Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
Coordinate with content writers and web developers for SEO implementation.
Stay updated on search engine algorithms and SEO best practices.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of SEO concepts.
Knowledge of Google Search, keyword research, and ranking factors.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console (preferred).
Basic understanding of HTML and WordPress is an advantage.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Eligibility
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, IT, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Certification in Digital Marketing or SEO is an added advantage.
Passion for digital marketing and search engine optimization.
