Job Summary
The IT Asset Associate is responsible for managing IT asset lifecycle operations, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and compliance with organizational processes. The role involves close coordination with the OSS team, warehouse, and end users to maintain effective asset management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Process asset requests and related incidents within defined SLAs.
Coordinate with the OSS team to gather IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose) information.
Track all asset movements and shipping details in coordination with users and the warehouse.
Maintain and update AMDB records with accurate IMACD data.
Ensure proper logging and documentation of all AMDB updates.
Support project activities and handle ad hoc requirements as needed.
Reconcile inventory on a weekly basis using IMACD updates in collaboration with the OSS team.
Prepare and share weekly reports with OSS country leads.
Coordinate with the OSS team to conduct physical asset audits.
Support MIS data uploads for future reference and reporting.
Monitor and track ITVM transactions effectively.
Skill Requirements
Robust understanding of IT asset lifecycle management (IMACD processes).
Experience with asset management tools/databases (e.g., AMDB).
Positive coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines (SLA-driven environment).
Proficiency in reporting tools and MIS data handling (Excel, dashboards, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
