Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SMT Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of SMT production equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in maintaining SMT machines, minimizing equipment downtime, and supporting production efficiency in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of SMT equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic faults.
Maintain machine uptime and ensure minimal production downtime.
Coordinate with Production and Process teams to improve machine performance.
Maintain maintenance records and follow TPM/5S practices.
Support machine installation, calibration, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
Diploma/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
2–4 years of experience in SMT equipment maintenance.
Knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes and PCB assembly.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience in an EMS manufacturing setting will be preferred.
