Key Responsibilities
System Monitoring & Operation: Start and monitor batch jobs, input commands, adjust settings, and ensure systems follow production schedules.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware/software malfunctions, error messages, and connectivity issues.
Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance, install updates, clean equipment, and manage supply inventory.
Data Management: Execute data processing, perform backups to prevent data loss, and generate reports.
User Support: Respond to user inquiries, provide technical guidance, and resolve problems for internal and external customers.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain logs, update procedures, and record system performance.
Security: Ensure the confidentiality and security of company information.

Server rooms or data centers.

Often involves shift work or being on call.
