Assess the physical condition, mobility, and functional abilities of residents.
Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and pain management interventions.
Prevent and manage contractures, pressure sores, and mobility-related complications.
Assist residents in improving independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
Recommend and train residents in the use of mobility aids and assistive devices.
Educate caregivers and support staff on protected patient handling, positioning, transfers, and exercise programs.
Monitor residents' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Maintain accurate assessment, treatment, and progress documentation.
Work closely with doctors, nurses,



occupational therapists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary team members.
Participate in case reviews, rehabilitation planning, and discharge planning when applicable.
Conduct group exercise sessions and wellness activities to promote physical health.
Ensure physiotherapy equipment is maintained and used safely.
Adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and infection control protocols.
Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting authority in the interest of resident care and rehabilitation.
