We are currently seeking a passionate, experienced, and energetic PRT English Teacher to join our primary school faculty.

Job Purpose

To spark a love for the English language and literature in young learners (Grades 1 to 5). The ideal candidate will build strong foundational literacy, communication, and reading skills while managing the unique, holistic schedule of a day boarding school environment.

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for Grades 1 to 5.
Skill Development: Focus heavily on foundational LSRW skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing), introducing grammar, phonics, and creative writing through interactive methods.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, vibrant, and inclusive classroom culture that encourages active student participation.
Holistic Day Boarding Engagement: Actively participate in the extended day boarding schedule,



including guiding students through remedial sessions, supervised study hours, and co-curricular literary activities (e.g., elocution, storytelling, drama).
Assessment & Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, maintain detailed academic records, and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents during PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings).

Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in English (B.A. English) or a related field, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience teaching primary grades (Grades 1 to 5), preferably in a reputed CBSE or day-boarding international school.
Language Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills with flawless pronunciation.

Familiarity with contemporary teaching aids, smart boards, and digital educational tools.
Solid cooperative skills to work effectively with peers, coordinators, and parents.
