Job Description – Machine Operator (Milling / VMC / Profile Cutting / Bandsaw)

Department: Production
Location: Pirangut, Pune
Experience: 1–6 Years
Qualification: ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities
Operate Milling, VMC, Profile Cutting, and Bandsaw machines.
Read engineering drawings and set up machines, tools, and fixtures.
Perform machining/cutting operations as per quality standards.
Inspect components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
Carry out basic machine maintenance and ensure proper housekeeping (5S).
Maintain production records and achieve daily production targets.
Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.

Required Skills




Knowledge of machine operations and engineering drawings.
Basic understanding of CNC/VMC operations.
Familiarity with measuring instruments.
Valuable problem-solving skills, teamwork, and attention to quality.

Preferred
Experience in manufacturing or heavy engineering industries.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, and secure work practices.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
