Set Up: Load raw materials, align parts, and install drills or fixtures into the machinery.
Operation: Start test runs, run production cycles, and adjust cutting speeds or feed rates.
Quality Control: Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect finished parts against blueprints.
Maintenance: Clean machines, replace worn tooling, and top off cutting fluids or lubricants.
Documentation: Record production counts, log material defects, and note tool wear patterns.

Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or mechanical trade certification.
Solid understanding of basic math, geometry,



and technical blueprints.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Physical stamina to stand for long shifts and lift heavy materials (up to 25 kg).
Robust attention to safety protocols and protective gear requirements.

Role Variations
CNC Operator: Focuses on loading material, running existing programs, and inspecting parts.
CNC Machinist: Sets up complex jobs, edits programs at the machine, and troubleshoots errors.
CNC Programmer: Writes the underlying code (G-code) using CAD/CAM software from scratch.
