Job Overview
We are looking for Patch Compliance Engineers to support enterprise environments by managing OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance operations. The role requires hands-on experience in patch deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring systems meet security and compliance standards.
Roles Responsibilities L1 Patch Compliance Support
Execute scheduled patching for Windows servers and endpoints
Monitor patch deployment jobs and validate completion status
Perform basic compliance and vulnerability checks
Handle patch-related incidents and service requests
Follow SOPs and change management processes
Escalate complex issues to L2 teams
Maintain patching logs and documentation
L2 Patch Compliance Support
Plan and manage monthly/weekly patch cycles
Troubleshoot patch failures and deployment issues
Analyze vulnerability scan results and recommend remediation
Work with tools like SCCM, WSUS, Intune, or equivalent
Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and security teams
Perform root cause analysis and preventive actions
Prepare compliance, audit, and patching reports
Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Windows OS patching (Server Desktop)
Understanding of patch management lifecycle
Hands-on experience with SCCM / WSUS / Intune
Knowledge of vulnerability management compliance standards
Familiarity with ITIL processes
Valuable communication and documentation skills
Positive to Have
Exposure to Linux patching
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7)
Basic PowerShell scripting
Cloud patching experience (Azure / AWS)
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
