We are seeking an experienced API Developer with expertise in Genesys Engage 8.5 to design, implement, and maintain robust APIs for cloud contact center integrations, ensuring secure, scalable, and productive communication between systems.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis: Understand integration needs of different services and systems within the contact center
Design: Create API specifications and design endpoints that are secure, scalable, and productive
Implementation: Develop APIs using SOAP, REST, and programming languages such as Python or Node.js
Ensure APIs are performant, maintainable, and adhere to best practices
Testing: Conduct rigorous functional and security testing of APIs
Implement automated tests to support continuous integration and delivery
Desired Skills
Robust understanding of API design, development, and integration patterns
Hands-on experience with cloud contact center platforms, preferably Genesys Engage 8.5
Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
