Roles & Responsibilities
Assess, examine, and manage patients under the guidance of consultants.
Provide first-line medical care in OPD, IPD, and Emergency departments.
Monitor admitted patients and document daily progress notes.
Attend consultant rounds and implement treatment plans.
Manage medical emergencies and stabilize patients until specialist care is available.
Prescribe medications and investigations as per hospital protocols and applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation.
Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Counsel patients and their attendants regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Follow infection control practices, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuous medical education activities.
Required Skills
