A. Core Responsibilities
Plant Design & Engineering: Collaborate with consultants to design the layout of the shell molding lines, induction furnaces, ensure maximum OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Erection & Commissioning: Lead the end-to-end installation of heavy machinery, shell core shooters, and automated pouring systems. Ensure all utilities (power, compressed air, cooling water) are commissioned on schedule.
Vendor Management: Evaluate and select equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Manage third-party contractors during the construction and installation phase.
Maintenance Strategy: Develop a Preventative & Predictive Maintenance (PdM) framework from scratch.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the plant design meets all ISO, IATF 16949, and environmental (pollution control board) standards.
B. Technical Requirements
Foundry Expertise: Deep understanding of Shell Molding cycles, thermal sand reclamation, and induction melting furnaces.
Utility Design: Knowledge of high-tension (HT) electrical systems, industrial ventilation, and dust extraction systems (critical for foundries).
