Services Business Operations Manager
Behind-the-scenes role focused on helping the Project Managers and delivery leadership stay focused on delivering to their customers. This person would help with the operational, administrative, reporting, coordination, and financial tracking activities that keep the services organization running cleanly.
Someone who can help with:
Project administration and follow-up
Status reporting and dashboards
Resource tracking and utilization visibility
Time entry, billing, invoicing, and PO coordination
Project financial administration
Meeting preparation and action item tracking
Consistent operational reporting for management
Process hygiene across the services organization
This person should support the PMs and management team.
The PMs will still own customer delivery, project execution, risks, commitments, and customer communication. This role should help make the delivery machine easier to run by keeping the details, reporting, and follow-up organized.
Requirements:
Total Experience: 5 - 10 years.
Person should have robust organization, reporting discipline, services operations experience, financial administration support, and the ability to work effectively across PMs, delivery, finance, and leadership. Someone who can help remove operational friction from the delivery team (basically supporting PMs and Delivery leads).
Mainframe to Java modernization exposure is positive to have (not must)
Decent familiarity with Mainframe/COBOL or Java/Spring framework (or both areas), is helpful
Must be a team player, comfortable in wearing multiple hats
