The Senior Software Engineer plays a key role in PepsiCos digital transformation, supporting endtoend software development and delivering highquality systems across the value chain.
Provides technical oversight and collaborates with UX, product, IT, data, and engineering teams.
Helps build and support Tech Strategy Enterprise Products (TS EP).
Works on highscale distributed systems, cloud platforms, and contemporary backend architectures.
Responsibilities
Guide engineering teams across ST priorities.
Develop and maintain digital products using industrystandard software engineering practices.
Create roadmaps and implementation plans aligned with business strategy.
Support AIdriven, datapowered digital solutions.
Troubleshoot delivery risks, issues,
and impediments.
Partner with business stakeholders to recommend strategic solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelors in CS/Engineering
(Masters/PhD preferred).
9+ years software development experience.
3+ years architecting faulttolerant, highscale distributed systems.
Robust in:
Java, Spring/Spring Boot
Backend microservices
REST APIs
Serverless computing
Cloud (Azure, AWS)
AI tools like Copilot, Devin or Windsurf
Highthroughput distributed systems
Design patterns, data structures, algorithms
