Publishing Domain Alignment:
Apply a solid understanding of scientific publishing workflows to guide project requirements.
Agile Methodology:
Champion Agile/Scrum practices, leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure consistent, high-quality tech deliveries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and editorial teams to translate business strategies into actionable technical specifications.
Risk & Dependency Management:
Proactively identify project bottlenecks, manage scope creep, and mitigate risks to keep timelines on track and within budget.
Data-Driven Reporting:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to generate transparent, transparent status reports for leadership.
Vendor & Partner Coordination:
Oversee relationships and deliverables with external technology vendors, publishing platform providers to ensure seamless systems integration.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing complex technology projects.
