Stores Responsibilities

Receive materials as per Purchase Order (PO) and Delivery Challan.

Verify quantity, quality, and specifications of received materials.

Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).

Store materials properly using the correct storage methods and identification.

Maintain stock accuracy in the ERP/Inventory Management System.

Issue materials against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).

Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.

Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

Maintain proper documentation for all inward and outward transactions.

Handle material returns, rejections, and scrap disposal as per company procedures.

Coordinate with the Purchase, Project, and Finance departments.

Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the store.

Protect materials from damage, theft, and deterioration.

Generate inventory, stock movement, and consumption reports.

Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
