Key Responsibilities
Purchase & Expenses Management
Record all purchase invoices, expense entries, and debit vouchers in the accounting software accurately.
Ensure Proper Verification: Verify all vendor invoices and confirm that the Goods Receipt Note (GRN) is attached to every purchase invoice prior to payment processing.
Route verified purchase and expense bills to the Managing Director and Head of Finance for final approval.
Weekly generation and review of the Creditor Aging Statement.
Send monthly overdue bill statements to the Purchase Manager for approval and prioritize payments based on selected parties.
Conduct monthly stock tallying for Raw Materials (RM) and Packing Materials (PM) with the Technical/Store Office.
Payments & Cash Flow Operations
Process and manage timely online bank transfers and cheque issuance for approved vendor/creditor statements.
Prepare full and final salary cheques/transfers for payroll processing.
Process utility bill payments, including electricity, water, and telephone bills (including Tally entry, tracking, and follow-ups).
Maintain and update company credit card transaction details and handle timely statement repayments.
Issue cheque and online payments for ad-hoc operational expenses as approved by management.
Taxation & Compliance
Assist with basic tax compliance tasks.
Prepare and process Form 16 details for employee tax filings.
MIS & Financial Reporting
Prepare, update, and maintain routine MIS Reports using MS Excel.
Maintain the daily/weekly Mini Desktop Report for top management visibility.
Qualifications & Key Competencies
Education: Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of practical experience in core accounting, vendor payments, and inventory reconciliation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime / ERP systems).
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, summary functions) for MIS reporting.
