Job Title: Senior Officer - CAT Axis

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Officer for our CAT Axis team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of catastrophic risk models, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with various teams to enhance our risk assessment capabilities. The Senior Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain catastrophic risk models to evaluate potential impacts on the insurance portfolio.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential risk factors.
Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and claims teams to enhance risk assessment methodologies.
Prepare and present reports on risk analysis findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Implement and monitor risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in risk modeling technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.



A Master s degree or skilled certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
3 to 5 years of experience in risk management, actuarial analysis, or a related field within the insurance industry.
Robust analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
Proficient in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS.
Familiarity with insurance regulations and industry best practices related to catastrophe risk.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
