Drives internal audit closures, IFC-RCM framework, SOP implementation and statutory-auditor liaison across PGEL and group entities; independent of FC functions to preserve audit objectivity.
Detailed activities:
Drive closure of internal audit report, observations within agreed timelines.
Lead implementation of IFC-RCM (Internal Financial Controls Risk Control Matrix) across PGEL, PGPPL and all material SPVs.
Own SOP library TDS compliance, credit/debit note handling, insurance, SAP transition controls, MSME payment tracking, maker-checker gaps.
Test design and operating effectiveness of controls quarterly; document exceptions and remediation plans.
Coordinate with statutory auditors on IFC reporting for Section 143(3)(i) and maintain Audit Committee dashboard.
Perform thematic audits — GST reconciliation, SAP B1 master data,
vendor / customer on-boarding, material/ service master, RTGS/NEFT maker-checker, BG/LC issuance controls.
Support cost audit and tax audit fieldwork as second-line defence.
Assist in risk-management framework (liquidity, FX, interest-rate and credit risk) — document registers and mitigation effectiveness.
Prepare quarterly Audit Committee pack — open observations, ageing, remediation and management responses.
Drive fraud-risk assessment and whistleblower case reviews per listed-entity requirements.
Independently review related-party transactions and high-value approvals for compliance with policy.
