Sales Executive Fabric / Textile Industry

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Sales Executive to promote and sell fabric products to garment manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, boutiques, and fashion businesses. The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, maintaining existing client relationships, achieving sales targets, and understanding market trends in the textile and fabric industry.

Key Responsibilities
Generate recent business opportunities in the fabric/textile market.
Visit clients regularly including garment factories, retailers, exporters, and wholesalers.
Present fabric samples and explain product features, quality, pricing, and availability.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams for smooth order processing.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Prepare sales reports and maintain customer records.
Follow up on payments and outstanding dues.

Required Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and garment industry trends.




Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Sales and target-oriented approach.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email, billing software/CRM).
Good presentation and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Textile, or related field preferred.
1–5 years of sales experience in fabric, textile, or garment industry.
Freshers with robust communication skills may also apply.

Preferred Experience
Experience in cotton, polyester, denim, knitted, woven, or printed fabrics.
Existing network with garment manufacturers or textile buyers is an advantage.
