We are looking for a dynamic and experienced legal professional to support the Company's litigation matters and represent the organization before various courts and judicial authorities as an Authorised Representative. The ideal candidate should possess robust court exposure, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to handle legal proceedings independently.
Key Responsibilities
Represent the Company as an Authorised Representative (AR) before courts and judicial authorities.
Handle and coordinate civil litigation matters, including property-related disputes.
Manage criminal cases involving the Company and coordinate with external advocates.
Handle cheque bounce cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act (NI Act).
Appear before courts to provide evidence and represent the Company's interests.
Face and respond to cross-examinations whenever required.
Liaise with external counsels and ensure timely follow-up of ongoing cases.
Maintain and update litigation records, case files, and legal documentation.
Provide periodic updates to management regarding the status of legal matters.
Assist in preparing legal notices,
replies, affidavits, authorisation documents, and other case-related documents.
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
Minimum 67 years of hands-on experience in court-related matters.
Proven experience in handling civil litigation, including property disputes.
Experience in criminal litigation and cheque bounce matters under the NI Act.
Prior experience representing an organisation as an Authorised Representative will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel and represent the Company before courts across different jurisdictions.
Robust drafting, coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
Male candidates prefered less than 40 years of age.
Preferred Industry Exposure
Candidates with experience in manufacturing, FMCG, retail, poultry, agriculture, or other corporate settings involving extensive litigation exposure will be preferred.
