Role & responsibilities

Field Assessment Support : Support in comprehensive site surveys to determine optimal camera placement, coverage areas, and lens selection.

Infrastructure Planning: Map out effective cabling routes and identify requirements for power provisions and network availability.

Resource Calculation: Perform storage sizing calculations based on resolution and retention needs to ensure hardware compatibility.

Installation & Technical Implementation

Hardware Setup: Execute the installation of both IP and Analog camera systems, including mounting and positioning.

Configuration: Handle end-to-end configuration of DVRs/NVRs, including recording schedules, motion detection, and remote access.

Security Ecosystems: Install and configure integrated systems including:
Basics of Biometrics & Access Control (including Attendance Machines).
Basics of Intercom & Communication (IPBX / EPBX / Video Door Phones).




Basics of Public Address Systems (IP PA).

System Formatting: Perform necessary hardware initialization and OS/firmware formatting for security appliances.

Networking & Integration

Connectivity: Apply basic network knowledge (IP addressing, Subnetting, Gateway configuration) to ensure devices are visible on the local network.

Basics of System Integration: Support in Link various security components (e.g., triggering a camera when an Access Control door is forced) and conduct System Commissioning.

Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Diagnosis

Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware failures, video loss, or signal interference in existing CCTV setups.

Testing: Conduct rigorous system testing post-installation to ensure all "blind spots" are covered and the feed is secure.
