Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager from the food industry to oversee purchasing activities, vendor management, contract negotiations, and inventory planning. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely procurement of quality materials and services at competitive prices while maintaining solid supplier relationships and optimising procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to ensure stock availability.
Analyse market trends, pricing, and supply risks.
Ensure timely procurement of goods and services within budget.
Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers.
Track supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues.




Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and budget forecasts.

Qualifications

Experience handling multiple vendors and procurement projects.
Ability to work in a quick-paced workplace and meet deadlines.
