Job Description:

• Production Efficiency & Optimization:

o Develop and implement productivity improvement plans.
o Analyze and improve work methods using time and motion studies.
o Monitor and control production targets and efficiencies.

• Line Balancing & Layout Planning:

o Design effective production line layouts based on product requirements.
o Ensure optimal operator and machine utilization.
o Perform line balancing to minimize bottlenecks and idle time.

• Capacity Planning:

o Evaluate production capacity based on manpower, machine, and product style.
o Work with planning to ensure realistic and achievable production targets.

• Method Study & Work Measurement:

o Conduct time studies and method analysis to set standard minute values (SMVs).
o Suggest ergonomic and method improvements to increase throughput.





• Data Analysis & MIS Reporting:

o Monitor KPI dashboards and productivity reports.
o Analyse performance data and provide actionable insights.

• Training & Development:

o Develop skill matrices and training programs for operators.
o Train line supervisors and junior IE staff on IE tools and systems.

• Cost Control & Waste Reduction:

o Identify areas for cost savings in operations.
o Implement lean manufacturing and 5S practices.

• Technology & Systems Implementation:

o Drive adoption of automation and digital tools in IE practices.
o Oversee implementation of ERP or IE-specific systems (e.g., GSD, Pro-SMV).
