Job Description

Role Summary:

- The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions with a strong focus on vendor quality management and procurement quality assurance for large-scale projects

- This role will ensure that all equipment, spares, and critical components procured for the projects meet defined specifications, international standards, and contractual quality requirements. In addition, the incumbent will drive quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a strong quality culture across project

- Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) with a robust focus on vendor / Client quality assurance. Lead vendor qualification, evaluation, and onboarding, including capability assessments. Establish and enforce quality standards, specifications, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all equipment, spares, and procured materials. Drive end-to-end vendor / Client quality management, including stage-wise inspections, expediting, and pre-dispatch inspections. Review and approve vendor documentation such as quality plans, drawings, material test certificates (MTCs), procedures, and inspection reports. Coordinate with vendors,



third-party inspection agencies, Client and project teams to ensure compliance with international standards and IS codes.

- Manage non-conformances through NCRs, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for vendor-supplied materials.

- Ensure all procured materials meet QA/QC requirements prior to shipment and site acceptance. Oversee QA/QC activities across project as applicable.

- Lead internal and external audits, ISO audits.

- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure alignment on quality requirements.

- Lead and mentor the quality team, ensuring capability building and performance management.

- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring adherence to contractual quality specifications and timely resolution of issues.

- Preferred candidate profile:

- Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies, inspection systems, and quality management frameworks.

- Strong exposure to project-based quality management for international projects is preferred .

- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
