Toconduct verification of validated molecular assays and validation of in-housedeveloped /modified molecular assays.

Toplan, coordinate, execute and perform all molecular Diagnostic test proceduresand assays on clinical samples/ specimens, samples of tissue, fluids or otherbiological material independently and aseptically (to avoid the potential for contamination) without error,and within allowable time & temperature holding time requirements which includes Specimen preparation,nucleic acid extraction, master mix/reagent preparation / reconstitution , performing PCR and others (e. g. Infectious Diseases like qualitative assaysfor pathogen identification, quantitative assays like determination ofviral/bacterial load, assays for helping in diagnosis and treatment ofbacterial, viral and fungal diseases etc.).

Toperform quality assurance assays both internal quality control and interlaboratory comparison as per requirements and guidelines of accreditation(NABL), prepare and validate new lots and batches of the controls and reagents(lot verification) .

Toperform general lab maintenance (e. g. Autoclave biohazard waste,wash glassware, stock maintenance and purchase of supplies, equipment andinstrument calibration and maintenance, decontamination and surveillance).

Toadhere to and to follow health and safety standards,



practices and regulationsas per accreditation and regulatory national or international guidelines.

To collectsamples/specimens/swabs from patients, whenever required and asked by doctor.

To maintain positive lab practice atall times, to ensure the highest quality service to our customers.

To follow instructions, eitherverbally directed or from scientific resources and SOPs
