Key Responsibilities

Profile understanding & building - understand each student's academic profile, interests, and career goals; research and recommend internships, competitions, research projects, volunteering, certifications, and leadership opportunities that strengthen an application; keep profile records current.

University research & shortlisting research universities across countries on academic fit, courses, rankings, outcomes, fees, scholarships, and entry requirements; prepare detailed comparison sheets; stay current on changing admission and testing policies.

Application management—coordinate the end-to-end process; assist students in completing online forms accurately; verify every required document is uploaded; submit well ahead of deadlines; maintain records and document checklists; coordinate with the SOP team so drafts are reviewed and revised on time.

– Scholarships & financial aid—research scholarships, bursaries, and grants; maintain a database of eligibility criteria, procedures, and deadlines; assist students in preparing scholarship applications.

– Deadline & inbox management—maintain application timelines in Excel and internal trackers; monitor student email accounts daily and organise university communications by urgency and stage; flag conditional offers, document requests, and interview invitations; draft responses for review; maintain communication logs.

– Student & parent communication—coordinate over WhatsApp groups, email,



and calls; follow up proactively on pending tasks; resolve routine queries; and escalate complex issues and likely delays.

– Records, reporting & confidentiality—maintain student records and application trackers; produce weekly reports on application status, pending tasks, and deadlines; build the internal knowledge repository; keep all student information strictly confidential.

Must-Haves

– Written English — drafts to universities, parents, and students must be correct and skilled without correction.

– Spoken English—able to hold a full conversation with a student or parent and respond clearly.

– Research ability — turns university websites, entry requirements, and scholarship terms into a usable comparison.

– Advanced Excel or Google Sheets—builds and maintains trackers, timelines, and comparison sheets unsupervised.

– Deadline discipline and attention to detail — a missed deadline or wrong document cannot be recovered in an admissions cycle.

– Capacity to run many cases at once—multiple students, countries, and overlapping deadlines without losing track of any.

– Discretion — handles student records and family information confidentially.

– Graduate in any discipline.

Good to Have

– 1–3 years in overseas education, admissions, or study-abroad consulting.

– Familiarity with Common App, UCAS, or country-specific application portals.

– Exposure to UK, US, Canada, Europe, Singapore, or Australia admission cycles.

– Experience with a CRM or student management system.

– Working knowledge of Bengali and Hindi alongside English.
