Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Lead with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience leading production data platforms, building batch and streaming pipelines, and working with AWS, Databricks, Spark, dbt, and Airflow. The role requires technical leadership, stakeholder management, mentoring engineers, and ensuring scalable, secure, and production-ready data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Engineering workstreams.
- Provide technical governance through design reviews, standards, and delivery assurance.
- Build and operate production-grade batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Design and develop scalable cloud-native data solutions on AWS.
- Develop data transformations using dbt.
- Build and manage orchestration workflows using Airflow or equivalent.




- Make architecture and design decisions for data engineering solutions.
- Develop high-throughput, low-latency data processing systems.
- Write clean, effective, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Optimize data performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Support production systems through troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Ensure solutions are secure, observable, tested, production-ready, and cost-efficient.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, platform, business, and technology teams.
- Engage directly with stakeholders and customers.
- Provide implementation guidance, delivery assurance, and risk escalation.
- Coach and mentor engineering teams.
- Contribute to estimation and commercial discussions while ensuring deliverable solutions.
