SAP ABAP Consultant (Fresher)

Job Role: SAP ABAP Consultant

Location: Mumbai Goregaon (On-site)

Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate SAP ABAP Freshers who are SAP Certified and eager to build their career in SAP Development. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, valuable communication skills, and the ability to learn and work in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client business requirements by coordinating with functional consultants and stakeholders.
- Develop, customize, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and applications.
- Translate functional specifications into technical designs and development objects.
- Design, develop, test, and support RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects.
- Develop classical, interactive, and ALV reports.
- Work on Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, and print programs.
- Develop and enhance Interfaces using RFC, BAPI, IDoc, File Interface, and Web Services.
- Work on Enhancements including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.
- Develop applications using Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS ABAP).
- Create and consume OData Services.
- Develop and maintain CDS Views.
- Apply ABAP 7.5 New Syntax in development wherever applicable.
- Perform Debugging and ABAP Runtime Error Analysis (ST22) to identify and resolve issues.
- Optimize ABAP programs using Performance Optimization techniques.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and technical requirements.
- Document technical specifications, development processes, and testing results.




- Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and implementation.
- Provide technical support to end users after deployment.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, SAP S/4HANA developments, and best practices through continuous learning.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of ABAP Web Dynpro, RFC, Web Services, Context Mapping, Navigation, Adaptive RFC, Custom Components, Interfaces, NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI), and Floor Plan Manager (FPM) will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- SAP ABAP Certification is Mandatory.
