Position - Operations & RMS Executive / Senior Operations Executive

Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented qualified with experience in Capital Market Operations, RMS, Trade Allocation, Client Segregation, and Depository Operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong logical reasoning abilities, excellent mental calculation skills, and the capability to make quick and accurate decisions in a dynamic market environment while ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

RMS & Risk Management

- - Monitor client margins, exposures, and positions across Equity, F&O;, Commodity
- Perform real-time risk monitoring and client surveillance.
- Handle margin shortfalls, limit breaches, and square-off activities.
- Monitor peak margin compliance and risk-related exceptions.

Trade Allocation & Operations

- - Process and verify trade allocations for institutional and retail clients.
- Ensure accurate execution and settlement support.
- Monitor contract notes, trade confirmations, and exchange reports.
- Coordinate with exchanges, clearing corporations, and internal teams for smooth operations.

Client Segregation & Regulatory Compliance

- - Manage client fund and securities segregation activities.
- Perform daily reconciliations related to client and company accounts.

Depository (DP) Operations

- - Handle Dematerialization, Rematerialization, and Transmission requests.
- Process Delivery Instruction Slips (DIS) and off-market transactions.
- Manage pledge, unpledge, invocation, and margin pledge requests.
- Ensure proper maintenance of DP records and regulatory compliance.

Reconciliation & Reporting

- - Perform daily reconciliation of funds, securities, margins, and ledger balances.




- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in operational reports.

Analytical & Decision-Making Responsibilities

- - Apply strong logical reasoning to resolve operational and risk-related issues.
- Perform quick mental calculations related to margins, exposures, MTM, option premiums, and position limits.
- Support automation and process enhancement initiatives.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- - Strong knowledge of Capital Market Operations.
- Hands-on experience in RMS (Risk Management System).
- Trade Allocation and Client Segregation expertise.
- Knowledge of Equity, F&O;, Commodity, and Currency markets.
- Basic to intermediate Depository (DP) Operations knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).

Analytical Skills

- - Excellent numerical aptitude.
- Strong mental mathematics and calculation ability.
- Logical reasoning and problem-solving mindset.

Soft Skills

- - Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure during market hours.

Important Requirement

- - Candidate must be flexible to work in rotational shifts as per business and operational requirements.
- Willingness to work during early morning, evening, late-night, or extended market support hours is mandatory.
- Current requirement is for a shift timing of 3:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight .

Candidates not comfortable working in the current shift timing (3:00 PM 12:00 Midnight) and future rotational shifts need not apply.
