Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining plant machinery and utilities to ensure smooth production operations with minimum downtime. Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain pumps, mixers, filling machines, compressors, and utility systems.
- Ensure availability of spare parts and maintain maintenance records.
- Follow safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with production to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, lubricant, or chemical plant.
Skills
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of PLCs and utility equipment.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
