Looking for an experienced leader to head the Forwarding & Logistics business in India. The role is responsible for driving business growth, P&L;, customer acquisition, operational excellence, and leading cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business strategy, revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Own the P&L; and achieve annual business targets.
- Develop and manage key corporate accounts and acquire new customers.
- Lead end-to-end Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Logistics operations.
- Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and superior customer service.
- Monitor collections, working capital, budgeting, and cost optimisation.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams across functions.
Preferred candidate profile
- 15+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding & Logistics.
- Strong experience in P&L; management and business leadership.
- Established relationships with shipping lines and airlines.
- Experience in Project Logistics and specialised cargo is preferred.
- Proven track record in corporate account management and business development.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
