Job Description Market Research Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough daily research on competitors' products and strategies
- Monitor competitors' activities - product launches and product changes through comprehensive secondary research
- Gain valuable exposure by working across multiple segments within the life insurance industry
- Perform SWOT analysis and manage quantitative ad-hoc requests received from management
- Present actionable insights and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders in a transparent and concise manner
- Calculate the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for both competitors' and in-house products as part of competition benchmarking
- Assist in the development and maintenance of a robust competitive intelligence database
- Prepare detailed and maintain repositories on competitors' plans and strategies
- Benchmark competition both qualitatively and quantitatively for segments such as Savings, Term, Annuity and ULIPs
Required skills and qualifications
- Proficiency/ Knowledge in Life Insurance and their segments would be plus
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and drafting skills
- 1 to 4 years of experience with Bachelors/Masters/PGDM in Business, management or related field (preferred)
- Must be aware of the terminology IRR and must be well experience with MS office and Advance Excel
