Role & responsibilities

- Lead cloud modernization and migration efforts to Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud SQL to Cloud Spanner migration programs.
- Design and govern enterprise scale Microservices and Event Driven Architectures using Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ and other messaging platforms.
- Provide architecture leadership for supply chain and warehouse management platforms, and collaborate with WMS implementation teams on deployment and support
- Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams on architecture considerations for AI enabled solutions

- Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams on architecture considerations for AI enabled solutions, with awareness of MLOps concepts including model deployment, monitoring, feature management and governance
- Serve as the architectural liaison across Product, Engineering, Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, WMS Implementation and Program Delivery teams

Education, Qualifications and Licenses/ Certifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent related work experience
- Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, TOGAF, Secure Architect, MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect, or SnowPro Core

Experience

- 10 or more years of software engineering, distributed systems, cloud and application architecture experience
- 5 or more years of hands on experience architecting and implementing solutions on Google Cloud Platform
