Job Title: MIS Executive / Business Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented MIS Executive / Business Analyst to support business decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing MIS reports, analyzing business performance, creating dashboards, and providing actionable insights to improve operational and commercial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Leadership.
- Design and automate dashboards to monitor key business metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting across functions.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources and present actionable insights.

Business Analysis

- Analyze business performance, sales trends, inventory, customer behavior, and operational KPIs.
- Identify business opportunities, process gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Support management with ad-hoc analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Prepare presentations and reports for leadership reviews.

Data Management

- Manage and validate large datasets using Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
- Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Maintain master data and ensure reporting integrity.

Dashboard & Automation

- Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs and generate insights to support business growth.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Product teams.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful reports and dashboards.




- Support cross-functional projects through data-driven analysis.

Required Skills

- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Robust understanding of business reporting and MIS.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in MIS, Business Analytics, Reporting, or Business Analysis.
- Experience in D2C, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, E-commerce, or Startup environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or HRMS systems is an added advantage.
