Job Summary

The Accounts Intern supports the Finance & Accounts team in day-to-day accounting operations. This role provides practical exposure to bookkeeping, financial documentation, reconciliations, taxation, and reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and record journal entries, invoices, and payment vouchers.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
- Organize and maintain financial documents and records.
- Help prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory documentation under supervision.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect financial information.
- Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.
- Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Carry out other finance and administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications





- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Candidates pursuing CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) are preferred.

Skills & Competencies

- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP/TallyPrime, Zoho Books, SAP, or Oracle) is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Preferred Qualifications

- Internship or academic project experience in accounting or finance.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting software.
