Role & responsibilities

Responsible for planning and executing business test cases, validating end-to-end scenarios, and ensuring system integration accuracy. The role involves defect management, supporting UAT, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory standards. Key focus areas include timely execution of testing activities, ensuring coverage of critical business scenarios, minimizing post-release issues, and providing transparent communication on test status, risks, and readiness to stakeholders.

Key Competencies & Skills required:

- Plan, design, and execute business test cases based on requirements, user stories, and process flows, including validation of end-to-end scenarios and system integrations.
- Identify, document, and follow up on defects, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and vendors.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide required documentation for business sign-off.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards, including impacts on financial processes.
- Execute testing activities in line with release schedules to enable timely go-lives.




- Ensure sufficient coverage of critical business scenarios prior to release.
- Identify and resolve defects before production to minimize post-release issues.
- Maintain explicit traceability between requirements, testing, and approvals.
- Provide transparent communication on test status, risks, and readiness to stakeholders

Technical:

- Experience with business testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in IT change initiatives.
- Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
- Understanding of end-to-end business processes (e.g., insurance, claims, operations).
- Familiarity with test and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Basic understanding of system integrations and data flows, including impact on financial data and reporting.
- Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models
- 2-3 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Requirement is for a mix of 70% Business Tester UAT and 30% Test Engineer skills.
