Finance Manager

Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai Experience: 58 Years Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the organization’s finance and accounting functions. The candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, budgeting, banking operations, receivables management, audits, and leading the accounts team while ensuring timely and accurate financial information for management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Review accounting entries, journals, ledgers, and financial transactions.
- Supervise Accounts Assistants and ensure completion of daily accounting activities.
- Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation as per statutory requirements.

Billing & Receivables

- Prepare and monitor monthly billing for maintenance, water charges, cable maintenance, tower rent, and other services.
- Ensure timely dispatch of invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Monitor debtor ageing and prepare periodic dues reports.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for recovery of overdue payments.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- File GST Returns (GSTR-1) and ensure timely GST payments.
- Calculate and deposit TDS and file quarterly e-TDS Returns.
- Coordinate PF, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Reconcile TDS certificates with Form 26AS.




- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and applicable financial regulations.

Financial Reporting & MIS

- Prepare monthly Income & Expenditure Statements, Receipt & Payment Statements, and MIS reports.
- Prepare budget forecasts and variance analysis.
- Support management with financial insights for business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor project budgets and capital expenditure.

Audit & Banking

- Coordinate Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, and Tax Audit.
- Prepare audit schedules and provide required documentation.
- Manage banking relationships, bank confirmations, fixed deposits, and treasury activities.
- Ensure proper backup and maintenance of financial records.

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
- Review work completed by junior staff and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
- Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred

Experience

- 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in commercial complexes, facility management, real estate, infrastructure, or service organizations will be preferred.
