Position- QC Lead (JAVA Selenium Automation)

Roles & Responsibilities-

Test Planning:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive test plan that outlines the testing approach, scope, resources, schedule, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and define test objectives.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of software testers.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure that the testing team is working effectively to meet project deadlines.

Test Design and Execution:

- Oversee the creation of test cases and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Coordinate and execute various types of testing, such as functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.

Defect Management:

- Establish a process for identifying, logging, tracking, and managing defects.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

Automation:





- Evaluate the feasibility of test automation and implement automated testing strategies where applicable.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Generate comprehensive test reports for project stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation related to testing processes, methodologies, and test cases.

Risk Management:

- Identify and assess potential risks related to the testing process and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

- Implement and promote best practices for testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in retrospectives to identify areas for improvement in the testing process.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Additional Information:

- The position may require occasional overtime or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is desirable.
