Experience in Procurement. Capex & Opex /MRO Purchase, Procured material for Integrated Steel Plant and other Industries. Experience includes procurement of BOP (Balance of Plant) in green field project, operational consumables, Refractories, ferro alloys, fluxes, mechanical spares, Gases & Lubricants materials. Procured materials for, SMS (BOF), EAF, Induction Furnace, Bar Mill, Rolling Mill, Pellet Plant, Power Plant & DRI Plant.
- Procurement of all equipment for ongoing projects for DRI, Pellet Plant & SMS Plant includes import purchase & Indigenous purchase.
- Vendor Selection, RFQ/RFP/AUCTION, CS analysis, Contract finalization, NFA, Order release.
- Negotiation for the entire Project purchase and give clearance to place Po and follow up for details.
- Coordinating with all vendors to ensure delivery of right materials at right time frame.
- Plan material and contract requirements based on overall Project Schedules.
- Review vendor performance and enhance alternate source for procurement in case of emergency.
- Left over material utilization including capital Repair Material at plant.
- Ensuring delivery of all MRO items for running plant.
- Inventory Control.
- Cost Optimization.
- Ensuring continual improvement in procurement process through reduction in lead time for procurement
- Logistics coordination.
