Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in LT panels, DBs, MCCBs, MCBs, RCCBs, switches, sockets, and lighting systems.
- Install, maintain, and replace electrical wiring, conduits, cables, fixtures, and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain DG sets, UPS systems, batteries, transformers, and electrical control panels.
- Carry out routine inspection of motors, pumps, and electrical equipment.
- Monitor electrical load distribution and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety compliance.
- Maintain emergency lighting systems and power backup systems.

Breakdown Maintenance

- Attend electrical complaints within the prescribed turnaround time (TAT).
- Diagnose faults and restore electrical services with minimum downtime.
- Coordinate with vendors for major electrical repairs when required.
- Escalate critical issues to the Site Supervisor or Facility Manager.

Preventive Maintenance

- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities as per maintenance calendar.
- Conduct routine inspection of electrical equipment and systems.




- Maintain preventive maintenance records and equipment history.
- Recommend replacement of worn-out electrical components.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Support

- Carry out minor plumbing repairs such as leakage rectification and replacement of fittings.
- Assist in minor carpentry and civil maintenance work.
- Perform basic maintenance of air conditioners, exhaust fans, and ventilation systems.
- Support facility maintenance activities as assigned.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily maintenance logs and complaint registers.
- Record electrical meter readings and utility consumption.
- Maintain inventory of electrical tools, consumables, and spare parts.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.

Safety & Compliance

- Strictly follow electrical safety procedures and statutory regulations.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures wherever applicable.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately.
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment.
