1. This is a Data Science heavy role, 70% of the job is in core AI/ML skills and 30% usage of LLMs

2. The job involves building, training and testing ML models in GCP as Lowe s is primarily on GCP

3. Knowledge and experience of working with DS Algorithms is important

4. The candidates need to have strong hands on AI/ML experience with any of the 3 native cloud providers .GCP is preferred, but they can be AWS or Azure experienced resources too.

5. Candidates who have basic experience on doing AI/ML code on Jupyter notebook and not having experience of deploying models into product and scaling it will not be considered. Candidates must have working knowledge of having deployed ML models into production and scaling the same.

Key Responsibilities:

- Mines and extracts data and applies statistics and algorithms necessary to derive insights for Digital products and or services.
- Supports the generation of an automated insights generation framework for business partners to effectively interpret data
- Provides actionable insights through data science on Personalization, Search & Navigation, SEO & Promotions, Supply Chain, Services, and other related services .
- Develops dashboard reports that measure financial results, customer satisfaction, and engagement metrics
- Conducts deep statistical analysis, including predictive and prescriptive modeling in order to provide the organization a competitive advantage
- Maintains expert-level knowledge on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new methodologies and applies it to projects
- Contributes subject-matter expertise on automation and analytical projects, collaborating across functions
- Translates requirements into an analytical approach; asks the right questions to understand the problem; validates understanding with Stakeholder or Manager
- Contributes for building the analytic approach to solving a business problem; helps identify the sources, methods, parameters, and procedures to be used; clarifies expectations with stakeholders
- Leverages deep understanding of statistical techniques and tools to analyze data according to the project plan; communicates with stakeholders to provide updates

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Information Science, or related quantitative analytic field AND 4 years of experience in analytics AND 2 years of programming experience (Python, Java, Scala, Rust, etc.)
OR
Masters Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Information Science, or related quantitative analytic field AND 2 years of experience in analytics AND 1 year of programming experience (Python, Java, Scala, Rust, etc.)
OR

ALSO
Knowledge of SQL and various statistical modeling or machine learning techniques Conceptual

- Must have

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL
- Experience with reading (writing) data from (to) a cloud service (e.g., Google Cloud Storage
- Experience with deploying ML solutions at scale (e.g., Kubeflow, VertexAI, Airflow, PySpark, etc.)GCP or any cloud is must to have
