The Junior Engineer – Planning supports production planning and scheduling activities to ensure the timely availability of materials, productive utilization of manufacturing resources, and on-time delivery of customer orders. The role involves coordinating with production, procurement, stores, quality, and logistics teams to monitor production progress, maintain planning data, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders.
- Production scheduling to optimize machine capacity, manpower, and material availability.
- Monitor production progress against the plan and report deviations.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Track work-in-progress (WIP) and identify production bottlenecks.




- Update production schedules based on changing priorities and shop floor requirements.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, capacity utilization reports, and delivery performance metrics.
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and production teams to minimize downtime and improve schedule adherence.
- Maintain planning master data in ERP/MRP systems.
- Assist in inventory monitoring and support initiatives to optimize stock levels.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance planning accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
